My box of Cords!

So first off I am not a keeper I am a throw-a-way-er! I love to find things to trash! My husband on the other hand ..sigh.. he is a keeper! I have learned to leave his stash alone and he has learned to leave it in big bends so I don’t have to see it :). Compromise is nice. Well at some point I started keeping all the random cords we ended up with.. I don’t understand were they came from but they seem to breed behind every electronic thing we own! About every 6 months or so we end up moving something or repairing something or just cleaning up around it and find… cords that don’t belong to anything? just .. there! hmmm what the.. So one day I started to stash them in a box. I made it look pretty with some fabric so i didn’t want to throw it away! Well today my saving payed off!

Here is the battery charger hubby got about a year ago. I use it for my camera.. that thing eats battery’s like I eat candy! A week ago.. it stopped charging! I thought it was the charger itself but hubby to the rescue used one of his cords and it worked ( but he needed his cord ). At this point I had forgot about the box of cords and thought we were going to have to get a new charger or find a new cord. blah more money! Today tho MAHAHAHA I looked under the tv and there is my box.. and I foundĀ  ONE cord in it that would work! SO HAPPY! battery’s are charging.

Sooooo sometimes it is worth saving stuff.. but shhh don’t tell hubby he will get another bin in the closet!

God bless!
